Base Ten Subtraction with Regrouping
Monday and Tuesday of this week will be spend diving into Base Ten subtraction with and without regrouping. Here is a short video explanation from YouTube. We DO NOT show borrowing with the algorithm like they show, however, it is a good visual to show you how our "old school" subtraction and the way students learn subtraction today are related.
